Andrea Gregoretti is an emerging filmmaker in his fifties. Or rather, being still emerging at that age is what he thinks. In reality, Gregoretti’s film projects always stop in front of the closed “door” of a producer. The repeated failures cause our director to slip into a state of depression where he even dreams of winning an Oscar in the coveted “Failure of the Year” category. In this emotional turmoil, Gregoretti’s mind remembers a childhood memory of a classmate who, in fifth grade, during dictation, managed to make 24 mistakes in a single word. The memory of this out-of-class grammar, stimulates in him the enthusiasm for a new project, able to redeem all his failures;
